Java developments

My colleague, Henryk, has been working very hard since last Autumn to produce a series of 'Teaching Objects' using Java. He started to learn Java about 3 years ago, and now he's really making an impact.

Henryk studied Mathematics at school and college a while ago, and he's occasionally been observed poring over very old exercise books, but it's certainly producing good results.

The Teaching Objects are aimed at the new Maths Foundation Course, currently in preparation - MU123 and a variety of media are being tried out - these applets, short videos and other tools. There's more information about this project on the Internet too as well as information about the Maths Online project.

We've set up a Lotus Notes-based repository where the objects can be viewed as they develop (University username and password required to view - please ask if you want access). Henryk annotates each release and the Course Team are working closely with him.
